C.M.D.A stained glass window workshop

Description

Cécilia Moreira de Almeida, glassmaker, graduated from the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts in 1981. She obtained the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in specialization "painting on glass and restorer". After attending the Ecole du Louvre, she directed her artistic career towards influences from multiple cultures and eras.

She restores stained-glass windows as well as she creates them, in various styles, at the client's request: abstract, figurative, modern or more classic.

Its creation is nourished by the knowledge of great traditions and is manifested by its rigor and artistic sensitivity. It is also in her workshop in Itteville that she shares her know-how by giving weekly lessons.
