Aux Champs Soisy orchard

Description
Pauline and Rodolphe Fouquet are proudly taking over the Challois orchard in 2020. They are thus starting a transition for one of the oldest orchards in Essonne. Arboriculture is above all a long-term investment, that of fruit trees, a perennial crop that produces its first fruits 3 to 4 years after planting.
Apple, pear and cherry trees will be re-maintained, replanted and cared for. More hardy varieties adapted to the changing Essonnian climate will make their entry over the years. On the market gardening side, strawberries and asparagus are offered in the spring as well as a small panel of red fruits and vegetables.
The store opens three days a week starting in April. It will be accompanied by a 24/7 vending machine to give local consumers back the taste of ultra-fresh produce, picked when ripe, every day.
