Description

Virginie Peyrottes opened her first workshop in 2003. She has recently moved to Boissy-sous-Saint-Yon, in the south of Paris area.

The purpose of restoration is to prolong the life of an object by slowing down the process of degradation due to aging of materials or accidents. Three types of restorations are proposed in her workshop :
- "Archaeological" restoration which tends to limit dégradations due to time;
- "Museum" restoration or "semi-illusionist" which allows to restore shape and decor;
- "Illusionist" restoration, also called invisible as it gives the impression the object has never been damaged.
